Destinee and Braden tied the knot at Balcony Downs Venue and Retreat in Buena Vista, VA. The venue was a vintage dream nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The property had a beautiful manor we used to get ready for the big day, as well as stunning brick ruins the couple used as the ceremony venue. We started the morning with the bridesmaid in the gorgeous bridal suite!
Next, I spent some time capturing all of the little details and accessories from the wedding day - the invitations, jewelry, dresses, and anything else I could find. The manor was a perfect backdrop for these shots.
Destinee shared a first look with her bridesmaids at the bottom of the staircase just before we left for the ceremony. It was such a special moment to see how much love this bride was surrounded by on her day.
The ceremony was in the brick ruins just after a storm had passed by. It was a perfect moody and dramatic sky as the couple exchanged their vows.
The bridal party posed for portraits during cocktail hour, followed by couples portraits. I love the color scheme of the gorgeous bridesmaids dresses!
We spent the rest of the evening celebrating in the barn on the property. Congratulations to the happy couple!
